The 2009 Boys National Training Squad are currentl The 2009 Boys National Training Squad are currently in Croatia on a training camp. This is a great experience for the boys and team staff where they will attend training sessions and clinics hosted by Olympic athletes. They have had an opportunity to meet Ivan Krapic former Captain of the Croatian National Team who brought along his Olympic and World medals for the boys to see. They will train in various locations such as Volosko, Rovinj and Rijeka and will play some friendly games with local teams in addition to their training sessions.

Members of our 2011/2012 National Training Squads Members of our 2011/2012 National Training Squads have recently attended the inaugural EA Development Camp in Kranevo in Bulgaria. This camp provided a unique opportunity to advance Water Polo development for players, coaches and officials across Europe.🤽🤩 Coaches Siobhan O’Driscoll, Mariusz Smialek and Referee Anna Reilly travelled with the squad and as camp participants received education designed to enhance their skills and knowledge. The team was supported by Team Manager Gillian Prue.
𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 🤽‍♀️ Swim Ireland is proud to announce the U18 Girls Water Polo Squad set to represent Ireland at the European Aquatics Water Polo Championships from the 31st August until the 7th September. After months of hard work and a competitive selection process, National Head Coach Goran Sablic has named the final 14-player squad and 4 staff members who represent Ireland in August ☘️ Full announcement now live on the Swim Ireland website!
Wexford SC took home the trophy of the U12 Mixed C Wexford SC took home the trophy of the U12 Mixed Cup for the first time ever! The final was an incredible affair, with Wexford claiming the title of U12 Mixed cup champions for the first time, with a brilliant 7-0 win against a strong Clonard side. In the 3rd/4th playoff Drogheda claimed the bronze medal with an 8-5 win over North Dublin. Girls MVP of the tournament was Emma Murnaghan (Drogheda) Boys MVP of the tournament was Daniel Jordan (Wexford) A big thank you to our tournament director over the two weekends, Gabor Deak, delegate Stephen O’Brien, to all our referees & table officials, national head coach Goran Sablic, who was in attendance for the presentations of medals and our Swim Ireland Water Polo Team, Aveen Colvin and Kirstie Stevenson for their preparations for the weekend. Also thank you to the duty manager and the staff in the National Aquatic Centre who were very obliging in making hours available over the weekend and providing assistance when needed.
